Well, here we are again! It’s Sunday. This is either your sabbath, in which most people go to church or this could be the first day of the week for you. Here are a few tips to make sure you are fully energized from the time you wake until the time you lay down.
Tip #1 Wake up Early
Waking up gives you a chance to think positive about today. Whether you pray, or just lay there let positivity fill you mind and heart. Optimism will take you farther than you expect.
Tip #2 Warm Up Your Brain
Some people may like coffees in the morning and that is great! It stimulates your mind without the carbonation that energy drinks and sodas have. I usually drink a cup before I head to work and it helps me to stay focus on my task rather than just having my brain wander off into the galaxy far far away. Some other brain warm ups I do is count from 1-100 then count back from 100-1. You should also try thinking of words that are uncommon for each letter of the alphabet. Just to forewarn you, A hard word to come up with is one that starts with an X.
Tip #3 Exercise
A 15 minute jog early in the morning will do your body justice. Getting that blood flowing, your adrenaline pumping, and a pretty good sweat is a great way to start the day. Try to do a few minutes of stretching before you run. Push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, and squats are all good exercises that don’t take up too much time.
Tip #4 Socialize
Sometimes we are going through struggles in our lives that can’t be handled alone so a prayer helps a lot. Even if you aren’t going through a struggle right now, be considerate and call a friend. Call home to see how your family is doing, your family are the only people that won’t mind if you call them in the morning. I usually speak to my mom once a week now that I work most of the day. It would even be good to call a random number and simply say “I hope you have a good day!”
Tip #5 Hygiene
After working out and sweating taking a shower before going to the next part of your day is a good idea. Make sure you lotion your skin. Your face needs to be moisturized as well as your hair. The skin is very delicate and when we don’t take care of it the results at early aging, wrinkles, bumps, and bruises that won’t heal.
